Negative stars....
I took my dog in for a routine dental surgery on 4/7. We were right back in the office the morning of 4/8 because she had a huge pocket and under her left arm pit. They looked her over and gave her some pain meds and sent us on our way. Over the weekend she developed a huge bruise on the left side of her body. That bruise turned into a huge what they said was a hematoma. We were right back in the office Monday morning where they looked her over. They did an x-ray (came back clear) gave more fluids, pain meds, and anti-nausea medication. Later that day I had called and asked if I could have a syringe to force feed my puppy because she hasn't eaten on her own since 4/6. They would not even give me a 50 cent syringe. At that point I was upset and informed them that I would be making a claim to have the post care visits reimbursed. I was told by Dottie at the front that surgeries are risky and not the vets fault. Excuse me... my dog was healthy and eating before I came in. She has been a wreck since surgery. By Tuesday night she had developed another sore on the right side. I took my puppy to another vet this morning. My puppy has a thermal burn...Alameda claims they didn't put any heat on her. I have only iced the massive spot in a towel after permission from the vet. Alameda has only offered to reimburse me the $60 x-ray fee.
After a week of lost sleep my puppy miserable and hurting and all this from a routine teeth surgery. Pease do not use Alameda Pet Hospital they are very unprofessional.
