I have been taking my dogs to John for 20 years (all6). When I called to have our black lab put down-it was time. John was on his way out the door in a suit and came back to wait for me to bring Princess in. He explained the process brought us a blanket to sit on, let me say my goodbyes and sat with us til I was readyThen after he offered me comfort and to take me home if I needed. He was so comfortingHe has always been available for me and cared for my petIt is sad to loose a pet that is family but the joy they bring cannot be replaced.John always gets on the floor with my guys and loves on them when we go to see him.He had to put one of my huskies down when I was away on vacation. We cried together on the phone and he stayed with him til the end. I put my trust in John. Always willHe is the best

She helped me through the loss of my beloved Golden Retriever, Chaz and even offered to come by my house, which is way out in the county, to put my Chaz to sleep in the comfort of his own home. caring, compassionate, willing o go the extra mile, is frank and honest in a very loving, loves his clients and it shows! Id I had a choice I'd prefer to go to dr. silkman for for medical problems than most human doctors!
