My vet Dr. Teresa Holland is the best veterinarian around since the discovery of modern medicine. I said this because of the miraculous surgery she performed on my dog Branco in February 2012. After having Branco for four years as a family dog, we noticed some serious weight lost and lost of appetite on our dog. I told my son and my wife to take Branco to the vet. Dr. Holland did some test and found that, Branco swallowed a toy in the size of a golf ball that was causing intestinal blockaged, the ability to eat, which cause Branco to loss serious weight in three days.Dr. Holland, said she has to do serious surgery on the dog to remove the material or best bet is to put the dog to sleep if we cannot afford the cost. At this time my wife was in tears and our best option was to put the dog to sleep. Due to my love for our dog and my family I was told by the doctor to call care credit to see if they can finance the surgery. God so kind I was approved and the procedure was done and Branco stayed three weeks at the vet as he recovered. Dr. Holland discouted the total cost by allowing the dog boarding fee free, I said free. The total cost was reasonable, but the joy to see my dog jumping and playing was more than the cost. She is the best vet around.
