Buddy had two TPLO surgeries for CCL injuries to his hind legs. He regained the use of his left leg after the first TPLO surgery. We picked him up from the hospital today after having TPLO surgery on his right leg. The right leg injury was even worse than the left leg injury. After taking pain medication and a sedative, he is resting well. GET PET INSURANCE. The surgeries are very expensive. I have had dogs for 60 years. I have never had a dog suffer from this crippling condition. I don’t know what I would have done without pet insurance.
