I have had him as our vet 30 plus years,he is reasonable very knowledgeable, and he explains what is wrong with your pet how to make them better and how to avoid the same thing in future he is has always been on call answer the phone 7 days per week. He is one of the best men you could ever know. As a Vet he is the greatest. I would let him be my family Doctor if allowed. He son is a extremely smart DVM, and when you go though you get the old school full of experience and reputation. And with Dr. Kelley you get the newest and cutting edge services along with experience. These DMVs are everything and more, so glad that they have cared for my pets for 30 + years.

We have had numerous pets over the years and our vet always answers the phone when the office is closed and has always met us at his office for an emergency consult whenever we felt he needed to see our pets. He is so kind to both my animals and to our family. Recently we lost all 3 of our beloved beagles, all within 6 months, he cared for them their entire lives. Our 13 year and 12 year old passed from cancer and our 16 year old died from seizures. He and his son, who recently joined his dad after becoming a vet following in his dad's footsteps, did everything possible in caring for our dogs as if they were their animals. He was with us and our beagles hugging us and making the end as easy as he could for both our dogs and us. The kindness, compassion and love of animals that our vet Terry Garner has shown over the years has carried over to his son Kelly Garner who was with us with the most recent loss of our 16 year old. A vet can care for your pet by seeing them annually, but it takes a special vet that puts our furry friends first when an emergency arises. Recognizing both our vets is an honor.

On a Sunday morning, my wife went outside to find Toes, bleeding profusely from her left leg. Clearly an artery was cut. also large cutslashes on her side. We called DR. Smith and she told us to meet her at the clinic. We met her and she carried toes right in and operated on her for a couple of hours. She thinks maybe the cuts were from a large cat, but not sure. many stitches lot of antibiotics and a few weeks later Toes was much better. Dr. Smith did not tell us to go to an emergency clinic or elsewhere. She new this was serious and told us to come NOW. We thank DR> Smith and all at Sleeping Giant Clinic for being there and careing for Toes and all our dogs and cat.
