Dr. Laurie Walmsley is amazing! After taking my dog to two other vets without improvement, Dr. Walmsley accurately diagnosed my dog, performed surgery and provided follow-up and my dog is fully recovered and back to her happy, playful personality! Dr. Laurie Walmsley improved the quality of life for my dog - who I consider a member of my family! I highly recommend her and will never take my pets to anyone else!

I have four dogs so I am at the vet a lot. I’ve been through all sorts of issues with my dogs from surgeries to dealing with end of life. Dr. Walmsley and her entire staff have always been there for me for anything I need. Dr. W is very knowledgeable and she does amazing work, whether it be surgery or a check up. Doc rescued a beautiful Rottweiler he had been abused and starved, she never gave it a second thought to save him. His collar was never changed as he grew and the collar grew into his neck, blocking off the oxygen. Most would have given up on Rhino but Doc took care of this unloved dog for months and brought him back to health again. She knew he would never be adopted because of the brain damage but she asked my daughter to please give him a chance. Well Rhino lived another 3 years in a very happy home with more love than he ever knew as a pup...My daughter still has his little shrine in a special corner of her home...Doctor Walmsley saved that beautiful animal at a huge cost to her. She does these things all the time...

Dr. Walmsley is very knowledgeable about dogs, cats and other pets. She keeps a very country-like setting for the animals where the dogs are not afraid of traffic. I can safely take my 2 dogs from the parking lot to the building. She always has staff ready to assist you with the pets. She has a great system to remind you of needed shots and she can take you sometimes the same day you call. She has handled emergencies with my animals and always come through.

Dr. Laurie Walmsley is a very dedicated and caring veterinarian. A person can be assured, she will always give their pet her very best! Dr. Walmsley is awesome! She is dedicated and very knowledgeable. My pet was very sick and she fit us right in when we needed to be seen immediately. She helped my dog get back on track to a healthy lifestyle and her staff kept in touch to make sure we were doing okay. I highly recommend her and her boarding facility. Best place in Sarasota!

Dr. Lara is the most caring and loving vet. When we take our boys in she treats them like they are her own. She is a forward thinker and always has the best care for our boys in mind.
