after having made the excruciating decision to end my dogs suffering, I contacted the vet. upon arrival, I was asked to fill out financial responsibility paperwork (understandable).
after having filled it out; I was given health related paperwork to fill out (weight/diet/health). This seemed excessive and unnecessary given the reason why I was there.
once complete, I was asked to wait outside. while I am waiting, people are coming and going as usual.
30 minutes into the wait, Molly had lost control of her bowels. I went in and the lady behind the counter handed me a few napkins.
60 minutes later, I went to go check-in.. the door was locked and the waiting room was empty. But the cars in the staff parking lot area had not moved.
90 minutes later… my 14 year old Labrador was in more pain than she already was from sitting in the car. so, I left.
the decision to euthanize Molly was hard. but to be forgotten about in a parking lot… it was just too much. cruel.

Dr LeBleu is a tall, towering vet with a calm, confident, gentle and soft spoken disposition. He is well educated and experienced, but he also has an intuition about animals that is born, not learned. He not only takes the time to properly assess the animals with skill, but also takes the time to establish a genuine rapport with even the most difficult and quirky animals for a lifelong caregiver relationship. He is the perfect example of the genuinely kind, gentle and caring veterinarian that all owners hope to be able to find.
