If you love your pet don’t take them to this doctor. After a teeth cleaning and teeth extractions on 9/9/2022 my baby is no longer with us. It all started on the date above. Took her in for a teeth cleaning which he said he did before 1:00 PM that day. Left me a message on one phone at 12:12 PM and again at 12:16 PM telling me she needed some extractions. I called the office back at 1:05 with no answer, I finally got an answer at 2:05 and was told the office was closed for lunch. I ask to speak to the doctor because he had left me a message in regards to Bambi needing extractions, I was told by his Receptionist that he wasn’t in the office and wouldn’t be back until his next appointment which was at 3:00 PM and that she didn’t know anything about Bambi,s teeth. She finally agreed to call him while I was on the phone with her and after her speaking to him she said he said he would pull her teeth and gave me the price, Remind you this was almost 2 hours after he cleaned her teeth. After picking bambi up at 5:00PM. It was all down hill after we got her home. When we woke up very early on 9/10/2022 which was the next day she was hypothermia and dehydrated. We took her back to him on 9/10/2022 he gave her a boost of glucose we picked her up 12:00 PM. Took her home 4 hours later she was in convulsions and totally dehydrated we took her to the ER in fort Myers Florida after the doctor Examined her doctor said she was in critical condition. Didn’t know if she could save her so we made the hardest decision ever to have her laid to rest. Doctor Atmani had a hard time accounting for the time he cleaned her teeth and the extractions were made. What was a 2 hour span between me giving him permission to do the extractions and the time her cleaning was done. He said he did the extractions right after cleaning her teeth then backed track on the time frame and the reason her teeth were pulled before I gave him permission to pull them. Said his receptionist made a mistake and called the wrong client and told doctor Atmani I said to pulled her teeth. Please if you love you pet consider what my fur baby went through before taking them to doctor Atmani. I am seeking justice for Bambi:)

Every time I call Amy is there to answer the phone and she'll answer any question I have no matter how many questions I have and the doctor is so very nice and friendly and makes you feel so at ease they are a wonderful place I went to four different vets before I came to them and said this is it this is the perfect vet for my Chloe I wouldn't choose any other vet in the world now they are very caring and friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at ease thank you so much Homestead Veterinary Medical Center
