Dr. Bushnell & staff are the BEST! They are concerned with the well-being of the pet owners as well as the pets. They focus on making pets comfortable, trying to be as unobtrusive as possible, and making the pets feel loved and at home, reducing stress on their visits. Definitely NOT the sort of Vet who gives you a prescription & says "call me in the morning". Dr. Bushnell is very proactive, and really listens to the patient's and their owners. Each patient is special, as is Dr. Bushnell & her staff.

Dr. Maureen Bushnell had been our vet for the past 14 years.She rescues, bottle feeds, finds homes for strays, and has offered free spaying and neutering for adoptees and those who need help. Her and her staff offer gentle, loving care and the latest medical techniques and professional treatment and education for all their patients.The office's treatment of all animals is remarkable. It is warm and loving and the animals are put at ease (along with the mommies and daddies - for whom these sre often trying times). We trust "our babies" to Dr. Bushnell. It has been 14 years now and we still travel 45 minutes (each way) to see her. We will not use any other doctor for our pets.I know that any prize the Redland Animal Hospital wins will be put to good use and will allow them to help even more animals.Judy and Jay Eitneier

Dr. Bushnell really cares about her 4 legged patients. She takes her time with each one and makes them feel like they are her number one patient. She is very thorough with her physical exams of each patient and does not rush them out the door. The owner walks away feeling like their pet is as important to Dr. Bushnell and they are to them.

Ten years ago my cocker spaniel was attacked by two neighbors dogs. I was at worked and rushed home to find her wandering down the road with severe gashes to her neck. I immediately rushed to the vet who worked on her for two hours and advised it needed to be taken to a specialized hospital about an hour away. I did not have anyone to drive me. Dr. B advised she would be back as she went home to get her SUV and started to drive me. We had to stop twice to resuscitate Amber, unfortunately she died in my arms.Now days you do not find a vet as compassionate at Dr. Bushnell who would drive you to another hospital to try and save your pet and at 5:00 pm. Dr. B is one in a million.
