Doctor Todd is the most knowledgeable and compassionate veterinarians I have ever met. Knowledge includes western and non-western medical systems including a mastery in usage of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicines when appropriate. I live in Tampa which is 1 hour drive from Doctor Todd. Distance will not stop me from trusting my babies with Doctor Todd. I believe my veterinarian well deserves your award. To a doctor with integrity and pure love to all his patients!

I am Bracken, a Border Terrier born the day after Christmas in 2000. I want to tell you about someone my Mom calls Dr. Todd, but I just think of as my friend. At first I made the long trip only to get my yearly shots and keep my teeth clean. The two older dogs in the family visited more often. Rocky said he learned about funny needles that made him feel relaxed and his aches go away. Later, Seana had some sort of really bad lumps and after visiting Dr. Todd she came home feeling like her old bossy self. Time went by and as I got older I didn't feel like running and playing any more. Now it was my turn to experience those funny little needles. I enjoyed being able to rest my head on Mom's shoulder and went home feeling more energy. Dogs can tell you what makes a wonderful veterinarian. Mom says it's because he talks and listens to pet parents and their concerns. I think it's more than that because he listens to me too. He looks me in the eyes and touches me ever so gently as he listens to my unspoken worries. He is concerned when I have problems and always gives me his full attention. Thanks Dr. Todd for being my friend.

Dr. Todd is just the best with pets....and their owners. He takes a holistic approach to an animal's health and you can tell he has their best interests at heart. He's honest and forthright, takes calls from worried pet owners, and is compassionate. He stayed late on a Friday night when it was time to say goodbye to our loving Bichon four years ago and consoled me, with no regard to the passing time, after it was over. He has spoken to local animal rescue groups, helping them to be equipped to take care of all the wonderful animals turned into rescue each year. Dr. Todd has a calming effect when an animal has a life-threatening disease and advises and discusses when evaluating what should be the course of treatment for any condition. Even though he would think he is doing what he is supposed to be doing, he doesn't realize just how terrific he is - and what a role model he is to all of us.

I have taken all of my pets to Dr. Todd. He is so compasionate that years ago he worked magic on my dog Shamrock with Accupuncture, and a couple of years later when we had to put him down, Dr. Todd cried with us! I have called him recently with my dog Clancy who has congestive Heart failure at 5 AM and he guided me thru what to do!He loves our animals as much as we do! I believe he loves all pets as much as their owners! Vets are supposed to be kind and filled with compassion but I have never met a Doctor who is as competent and thoughtful as this man is. My pets all love him, and all of his patients human and otherwise all share the same feeling! He is AWESOME! His whole staff is terrific too, it is a trickle down theory, he is wonderful and so are the others who work with him and for him!
