Myla, my 8 year old lab was randomly dying of a rapid onset of liver failure just after hurricane Milton. Dr. Freeman dedicated sleepless nights and VERY long days to help Myla turn a corner. She was a "critical care" patient requiring 1:1 observation during this period. He made trips to his office all during the night to check on her and called me with updates at 10PM followed by videos and emails to calm my mind. He gave me his cell phone number and has been there every step of the way. I am so happy to say Myla does not have cancer and although she is not out of the woods completely; she has been able to come home with continuous IV Fluids. Dr. Freeman emails back and forth with me 2-3 times every single day. His strong assessment skills and clinical Judgment have saved Mylas Life. He is truly one of a kind and deserves SO much recognition for his excellent care of animals! He also has a top notch team behind him. Myla wouldn't be her today if it wasn't for him. Everyone needs a Dr. Freeman and the Sunset Point Animal Hospital Team!
