He always makes himself available, if it is an emergency to you, he treats it as an emergency to him. He is reasonably priced, friendly, acts as if your pet is the only one in the world, is courteous, listens to what you have to say and very professional.

Dr. Bub was recommended to us by our friends after being quoted over $5000 for a surgery for our young puppy, Dixie. We took her in for a second opinion with Dr. Bub and he quoted us almost half the cost and explained to us why were quoted so much more (unnecessary scoping completed by an off site specialist). We agreed to have Dr. Bub and his staff perform the surgery and couldn't be happier. Since then, Dr. Bub has become our trusted advisor. This is our first dog and he's been extremely empathetic and patient with us as we learn the in's and out's of dog companionship. We now bring all of our animals to Mesa and know they are all in trusted hands from the moment we walk in.

She is the best! She listens to you, the pet owner. She does not order unnecessary expensive tests. She always has time for you and your pet! The dogs love her. What more can a pet parent ask for?!

Before Dr. Borg I had lost faith in a profession I grew up idolizing. I've used vets who really didn't care and told me so. Dr. Borg is caring and compassionate and my dogs really like her. Before I started bringing my dogs to Dr. Borg their routine wellness care was actually being neglected because I really had noone I could trust enough to bring them to. I started bringing my dogs to her when my beloved Prissy became ill and was later diagnosed with chf. So many times Dr. Borg went above and beyond what is to be expected. When my Prissy passed in November Dr. Borg was right there and there really is no other person I would have wanted to be there with us when it became my baby's time to leave this world. Dr. Borg has really been a Godsend to me. Not only does she take excellent care of my babies but she is very understanding and considerate of me being on a limited income. Dr. Borg not only is a great vet, and a kind and compassionate person but she is a credit to the veterinary profession. She is exactly the kind of veterinarian I had aspired to be had my life turned out the way I had hoped. I guess you could say Dr. Borg is my idol. I really would like to see her get the recognition she deserves.

I'd like to nominate Dr. Kim Garner at Big Creek Animal Hospital in Millington, TN, for her devotion to the homeless and the needy. Dr. Garner frequently spays/neuters and provides care for rescue animals that she then adopts out to good homes. She has taken in numerous ones herself. I've taken many rescues to her, and she has always given them the best of care while helping me on the financial end because she knew they were rescues. Everyone needs to make a living, but the healing arts should be about so much more as they are to Dr. Garner. She's a wonderful, knowledgeable vet with a huge heart who gives back to the community through her rescue efforts. In my opinion, she is what all vets should be.
