The vets at Bolton Veterinary Hospital are all phenomenal! Dr. Malm has seen us expertly and gently through the care and passing of all our rescue dogs for more than 35 years. Dr. Pomper travels on RAVS trips to assist in spay/neuter clinics on Native American reservations where he is able to teach veterinary students new surgical skills one on one. The practice is very large, employing many vets and clinical technicians, but they make each owner and pet feel as if they are part of a family. They have a 24/7 East of the River Emergency Clinic and a foundation to assist those who have financial difficulties caring for their pets. They are an integral part of the larger community, treating pets as well as large farm animals in our rural area. They also provide cremation services complete with a memorial paw-print of the pet. We are fortunate to have them in the area.

We met Dr Frost after a close friend recommended him, as a wonderful vet who also sees a lot of English bulldogs. This is important because of their very complex medical issues many times. I also rescue English bulldogs and so we have nonstop vet visits for most of the dogs coming into rescue! Dr frost is not only very knowledgeable, he is very kind and caring with all if the dogs. Sometimes bulldogs can be quite intimidating and he is never daunted by this! He was the vet who diagnosed my beloved Buddy 2 yrs. ago with cancer and sent me to UGA for specialized treatment. He takes emergency calls for my pets and rescues in the middle of the night and weekends, which is unheard of these days! So when I really need his help it's reassuring to know he and his 2 other colleagues will be there for us! We don't have to go to a unfamiliar clinic when our pets are already stressed One of my most special memories is his call for a English bulldog pup that had been brought in by a good Samaritans to him because of severe neglect the dog was blind. I took him in our rescue and adopted my precious Stanley who's pictures attached ! He has helped our rescue immensely and we are so very grateful for all that they do for the rescues!! I would not take my dogs to anyone else, Dr. Frost is the best!!
