Dr. Crystal had been amazing with Toby. Always thoughtful, thorough and caring. Any concern I have had with him has always been treated with care. The whole team at LHAH is great to work with.

Dr. Nancy is so wonderful that when she left the clinic near my house, I now drive twenty minutes to see her. She gets down on the floor with the animals - she doesn't put them on a table where they feel scared. She has toys and treats in every room. One of my favorite things is that my dogs never know they are being examined ... she acts like she is just petting them, but she is really checking them out. She treats the whole animal - my previous dog had terrible arthritis, so she taught me how to have my dog do squats and build muscle. She is so compassionate, caring and knowledgeable. I am so grateful for her.

Dr. Katie Thomas is the best vet I have ever had. We happened to visit her 6 years ago when my other vet was unavailable and I switched to her after that appointment. Dr. Thomas has been taking care of my new fur baby, Kiva for 3.5 years. Kiva has had a lot of health issues early on so we are frequent flyers at Left Hand Animal Hospital. Dr. Thomas has been outstanding in getting her back to being a healthy girl. She genuinely cares about your pet and she spends a significant amount of time with you and your pet at every appointment even if it is a 15 minute exam. She goes above and beyond to make you and your pet comfortable at the vet. Kiva had a strange day last year where she was acting stressed when we got to the vet after a poor experience at the emergency vet the week before. Dr. Katie gave her frozen baby food and treats and after examining her she sat with her on the floor for at least 30 minutes and loved on her and played with her and by the end, she was lying in Dr. Katie's lap a happy dog. Kiva is excited when she gets to Left Hand and knows she is in for a lot of love, attention, and treats :). When I received Kiva's genetic test results for various scary health conditions she called me after hours and talked to me for an hour about what everything meant and her likelihood of those genes being expressed and ultimately significantly reduced my concerns. My vet in simple wordage is the best because in need of great help she opened her professional experience to me and my pet. My Belgium Malinois, Chita, had her broken left front leg severely infected. Lost with hope, I thought not much could be done. But thankfully I found Doctor Sandoval she personally cleaned, and treated the infection. During every moment and every weekly check up she made me feel welcomed, no vet ever had projected such tranquility and honesty to me. In the end and til' this day I am highly thankful, because she gave me and Chita the opportunity to be together before her departure. Unfortunately, nothing could be done to fix her bones and with an orthopedic diagnoses as well as advice I had to make the hardest decision of my life to let go of Chita and let her rest in peace. I miss her every moment of the day everyday. Thanks to Dr. Sandoval I at least got to be with Chita a couple months more. I am truly grateful for having vets like her whom offer us pet owners the chances of preparing our beautiful angels to say good bye. No matter how much I spent and cried to have Chita painfree and with a heart beat longer time, in the end it was all worth it as we loved each other til' the end and still do. From up above I know she still protects and cuddles with me. Thank you Dr.!

My vet is the best because they really care about my pet. They always give me a list of shots etc for next time and an estimate, so I can plan my next visit and costs. The vet is very caring and will work with you to help you find financing if you can't afford the vet bill. The vet treats both me and my pet with respect.

Dr Hess is brilliant, an excellent diagnostician, with a mind as sharp as a knife. She assists with rescues, helps sponsor a cat show, takes no guff and makes things happen. She runs on time, makes care as affordable as possible, and she works with people if they need some financing. She gives you all the options. She's professional, always, and works tirelessly. I know if my animals are under her and her staff's care they are in excellent hands. She refuses to allow imcompetancy in her staff. Having been a vet for 30 years she's got a vast amount of "tricks in her bag". Her success rate it treating Parvovirus is greater than most. She sacrifices her wants to meet the pet's needs i.e. instead of referring after hour urgent needs to the emergency clinic nearby she stays late. Some of her clients would not be able to afford to care for their cats and dogs if it weren't for her. She even has an annual picnic for her clients. I know many vets (having worked in the field myself) and she's my choice, I drive nearly an hour to get to her even though there are numerous practices 10 minutes away. She's great. Always my first choice. Her associate vets are great, too. If you want compassionate care that exceeds the skill and knowledge of most vets, she's the doc for you.

Katie is absolutely brilliant! I've worked with her as a technician assistant, and have also brought my kiddos to her for their annuals and whatever issues come up with them (And with my dog thats like a 2x a year bloody diarrhea mess). Shes compassionate, provides excellent care, and really lets her clients know that she cares about her patients!

I was there 2 weeks and short on cash that day, I asked him if we could barter.I make the best Pecan Pie anyone has eaten,I walked out paying Nothing for an Exam, Feet clipped. Steriod Shot, and Antibotics medicine, He tells me when he comes home, and the wife goes to give him a hug, she grabs the pie first then the hug. He has been taking care of my dogs for the last 15 years

Katie is amazing! She has been our vet for the last 5 years and has always treated our dog with lots of love and attention. Our dog was born with a congenital malformation and Katie was the only vet we consulted with that gave us hope that the issue could be fixed and our brand new puppy wouldn't have to be put down. Ever since our dog was treated and made a full recovery we have made Dr. Katie and Left Hand our vet for life.

Dr. Louis Schwartz is oneofakind. Hes extremely intelligent and articulate, and that can be said of many vets. But he goes a step beyond.I discovered a lump on my cats leg and took her in. I was so curious about his diagonistic procedure and medical possibilities that Dr. S. invited me to participate in the surgery. With all my many years of animals and procedures, thats a first. So I stood by while kitty was sedated and then anesthetized. I watched as the scalpel cut into her leg, as the forceps pulled up the tumor, and as the doctor cut it out. She was beautifully suturedand all under five minutes it seemed. Because it was so quick, and less than the time originally estimated, Dr. Schwartz actually REDUCED my bill. Two unbelievable occurrences from a vet. Never has any vet reduced a bill for me that wasnt because of error or fault on his/her part. I was stunned. Kitty is cancerfree! Thanks, Dr. Schwartz.

Bella is a 6yr. old rescued Lab. She had been blind from congenital cataracts from birth. We obtained her from our local Lab rescue here in Phx who generously gave her sight before we brought her home. Dr. Schure and staff had been involved with our last loving Lab that we lost before deciding to adopt Bella. Dr. Schure was open and honest after examining Bella...and told us that she may be medically fragile due to past life (unknown to us) and that congenital cataracts may be caused by inbreeding. We fell in love despite the many medical setbacks we have had...always counting on Dr. Schure and his office to advise and treat. He is compassionate, kind, knowledgeable and accessable for all of Bellas many medical needs. His staff is patient and accomodating. I wish I could tell you Bella is medically well...but she is GREATLY loved and cared for ..which is all any human or creature could need. Thanks to Lookout Mtn Vet Clinic, Dr. Schure and staff

I have never seen a veterinarian so loving to my pets. When I complained that it took an hour and 50 minutes to get my cat Belle into the carrier Dr. Ng laughed and it was clear that Belle was her first priority and I was just a third wheel. Belle loves Dr. Ng way more than she will ever love me because Dr. Ng took away her ailments and made her a completely new cat!

Our cat ate something and if it was left inside it would've cut her intestines. The emergency room quoted us $4500 (which as a young couple we couldn't afford). After calling over 20 vets we found Dr. Friedman who not only gave us a reasonable price, but also offered to stay late to do the emergency surgery when all the others said no. We are eternally grateful.

My vet is the best because she is not only intelligent but intuitive, caring, honest and ethical. She is a good listener and she always pays close attention to any changes in my older cats. She has taught me a lot about cats in general. I have three cats and two of them do not get along. She has given me tips on how to handle two cats that do not get along. We are lucky to have her!
