She cares about my pet, Joey, and the emotions that go along with an ailing pet. Understands the cost and the sacrifice to keep my pet healthy. He has several years left of his life and I want him to be comfortable. She listens and offers alternatives to treatment and explains everything about his illness/injury.

Dr. Steen is a very compassionate person with both animals and people. He's very smart, kind and considerate. He loves my pets almost as much as I do--which is a lot! He understands neurotic pet owners and is very reassuring about pet problems. All three of my darlings love going to see him and his staff. He's a very lovely person!

About a month ago after noticing timidness, lethargy, and sneezing in my 10monthold puppy, and as a relatively new pet owner, I was not sure what these symptoms meant. So, upon the recommendation of our trainer, I immediately called and got a sameday appointment with Broadway Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Dawn Sessions was our doctor that day and I could not have been more pleased with the care we received! As it turned out, Dr. Sessions was leaving the following day to volunteer at the Iditarod but spent ample time with my puppy and I discussing her symptoms, asking clarifying questions, and exploring treatment options. Dr. Sessions included me in my puppy's care plan and made me feel supported, reassured, and confident during the process. We have since had a complimentary followup appointment with Dr. Sessions during which she spent an hour with us answering my questions about flea and tick prevention, dental care, and airplane flight anxiety. The thoroughness and care that Dr. Sessions provides both her canine and human clients is palpable. Without hesitation I have decided to switch from our previous vet to Dr. Sessions. She is an absolute angel with a wonderful sense of humor to boot! I could not be more pleased with the care and expertise Dr. Sessions provides and I simply cannot sing her praises enough! The attached photo is of Cora feeling back to her normal self oneday removed from our first appointment with Dr. Sessions!
