We live in a small mountain town in Northern California. Our closest vet would be 30+ miles away if Dr Lydon hadn't chose to practice up here. And I thank God everyday that he did and here's why:Early in the morning I would wake to the dogs nosing me and the cats running up and down the hall wanting to eat and be let outside. All at once the cats quit running and one was crying in the hall. As I turned into the hall there was Moo Kitty lying on her side, not able to stand crying in distress. As my husband gathered her up I called Dr Lydon and they had me bring her right down. As soon as I arrived I was in a room with Dr Lydon. Moo Kitty had had a stroke in her back. He immediately gave her a shot and then explained to me all about strokes in cats. We would just have to wait. Moo Kitty pulled through thanks to his quick action. He never charged me for that day either. Being on a fixed income it was thankful. A year later Moo had her last stroke and we had to put her down. This man was with me every time and stayed and even cryed with me as Moo, purring took her final breath. He puts the animals first, helps with rescues and low income. Not enough words to describe this amazing man. A great gift to our community.
