We've had a lot of experience with other vets and finally were referred to Dr. Murphy. What a blessing. She is friendly and professional, honest, pro-active, and our dogs love her. When one of our sweet babies passed last year, she was in the room comforting me the whole time and sent me the kindest handwritten card and pawprint afterwards. That type of compassion only comes from people who truly love animals. We've never had her prescribe unnecessary medicine or treatments. We trust her and her veterinarian staff so much that we drive 30 minutes (no traffic) each way to see her. I cannot imagine taking our dogs to any other clinic after going there!

Dr. Black is the rare blend of excellence in diagnosis and treatment of the animal and its family! He has been my vet for over 20 years, 6 dogs. Each time, we gave him "carte blanche" to do whatever needed to be done because he only did what was necessary and did it with excellence. The dog's well-being always came first, the family's well-being a close second. This is the way we wanted it because he knew that our well-being was directly the result of our dog's well-being. He was honest when our dogs had a fighting chance, or when it was time to euthanize. And when he did euthanize, I was there and a sense of love, care and grace filled the room. His staff are impeccable. Thoroughly trained and professional. My dogs LOVED this place as much as home. I could tell by their demeanor that they were well taken care of and enjoyed showing up. Dr. Black has never denied my dogs the best service. He has never forced any treatment. He always consulted me and followed my wishes. His prices are competitive. If I can find product elsewhere for less, he has refunded the difference. Orange Canyon Pet Clinic is the ONLY place I will take my dogs. OCPC is the ONLY veterinarian clinic I will recommend. OCPC is my go-to place for help, advice, and encouragement. Home away from home plus superior care.
