Dr. James was easy to understand why Zoey was sick. But she took the time to explain in a way we totally understood. Many dr have one foot out the door before they come into the room. That is not true in this case. We were totally confident in Dr James ability and knowledge of caring for Zoey. We felt Zoey would be well cared for and Dr James kept us up to date on zoeys progress. I highly recommend Dr James to any client needing emergency care for their fur child. ALL of staff is very caring and readily available for any emergency. Dr. Wheaton and his wife are widely recognized for their work at the Pet Rescue Center and also for administering ER need for any pet in need.

Dr. Zwahlen is our veterinary oncologist and has been treating my cat Eevee for a rare form of cancer for 1 1/2 years. She is always positive, honest, and caring. She coordinates with the other specialists to make sure Eevee is receiving the best overall care, not just the best cancer treatment. She listens to my concerns and never makes me feel stupid when I worry about little things. Where other vets would have given up on my cat, Dr. Zwahlen has given her the care she has needed to not just survive, but thrive. I have a happy, healthy little best friend who I know wouldn't be here today without Dr. Zwahlen, her staff, and all the other great vets at SCVSH.
