Confucius said "choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life." I truly believe that Dr. Sandhu of Canyon Country Veterinarian Hospital embodies that to a “T.†Unfortunately, my initial meeting with Dr. Sandhu was not a pleasant one; this is because I was seeking his expertise in fixing my beloved dog, Champ, broken leg. Champ is my 5 year old lab mix that I rescued from the trash. Someone literally left this adorable mange infested dog in a box near a dumpster to die. Last year, my best friend Champ, was brutally attacked by a coyote. Dr. Sandhu was the only vet I met with who was willing to save his badly mangled leg and did not immediately advise me to amputate. He treated me like a friend he knew forever and he gave Champ the same TLC that I would have given him if I was qualified to treat his wounds. Dr. Sandhu and the staff at his emergency clinic did not see Champ and me as dollar signs, as most other vets I met with did. Dr. Sandhu immediately had my trust and loyalty from that point on. He was fair and flexible with the cost of his surgeries because unfortunately I was not prepared to spend the thousands I did to save Champs leg. Dr. Sandhu is the best vet I have ever encountered; his passion for his craft shines through in all that he does!
