Dr. Chong has a special relationship with her patients. when she first meets a new patient, she sits on the floor to be on their level and pets and talks to them to help relieve anxiety. She spends as much time as is necessary for the needs of each pet. She is an excellent listener, and prefers to try least invasive procedures first. My dog, Christian, is anesthesia sensitive,so prior to a necessary surgical procedure, Dr. Chong talked to me about the process step by step and assured me that the anesthesia she was using would put him under and bring him out quickly. She personally called me the moment he was conscious so that I would not ne sitting by the phone worried. I appreciate her obvious love and respect for her patients. Our community is so fortunate to have her practicing here.
