Going to the emergency vet is never a pleasant experience, but the people at PETS referral center were kind, honest, and skilled. My cat was vomiting and acting as if she was in pain late at night, and PETS Referral Center got her seen quickly, which was lucky as our regular vet (and urgent care clinic) was closed. Dr. Kane took the time to go over a plan with us - talking through the options and offering his expertise and insight and also just gave us the sense he cared about us and our pet. Dr. Jennings was the same in that regard, and PETS also had a board-certified radiologist come in the next day to do our pet's ultrasound. Dr. Jennings explained the findings to us, what they might indicate, and what we could consider doing next. Both Dr. Jennings and Dr. Kane provided what seems like appropriate care on both days she needed to be seen. Overall, I was impressed with the team here, and I would bring my beloved cat back if she ever had another emergency.

They saw KoKo quickly after being bitten by a raccoon. They assured me she was going to be just fine and not to worry. They sedated KoKo, stitched her up and she was given a rabies shot. The whole emergency room staff was so kind, helpful and supportive. I hope this doesn’t happen again but, if ever another emergency, we’re going back to Pets Referral Center.
I and KoKo thank them from the bottom to the top of our hearts - job well done.

They were exceptionally supportive, kind, and calm with my dog and me (and everyone else who came in), during a stressful time.
