After a misdiagnosis of a muscle condition and administration of steroids from the emergency clinic, we noticed our dog, Louie's condition was worsening. I called a friend and she recommended her vet, Dr. Randy. Louie was increasing lethargic, in pain and now was coughing up blood and refusing to eat! Dr. Randy was relentless in his search as to what was going on with Louie. He met with my husband and I for over an hour-asking just about every question in the book. He took ex-rays and suspected pneumonia. To confirm his suspicions and spare us another possible misdiagnosis, he got on his computer and immediately sent over Louie's ex-rays to his colleague in GA for a second opinion, confirming the pneumonia. We began treatment right away!We don't have a lot of money and were worried about costs, but Dr. Randy and his amazing and loving staff worked with us-even suggesting ways we could lower costs by treatments at home. Dr. Randy absolutely saved our dog's life! He spent several hours with our family and didn't rush us or push us into care we could not afford! One more thing, he gave us a Pet's Best brochure telling us they would insure our older dog who was 9 at that time and is now 13 years old and still going strong, thanks to Dr. Randy Aranson, his staff and Pet's Best Insurance!
