Dr. Fixler provides a unique, specialized and enormously compassionate service, in-home euthanasia. When the pet's condition is beyond the capabilities of its regular vet Dr. Fixler provides the most loving, compassionate, peaceful and pain free service to bring a happy ending to a pet's life. I recently called Dr. Fixler because my Pug, who had been with me 13 years, was aged and suffering from pain, immobility, incontinence, and loss of dignity. It is a hard decision for anyone to make. Dr. Fixler's staff understands that and took the time to gently discuss any concerns or doubts about setting such an appointment. When Dr. Fixler and his assistent arrived at my house, they took the time to greet Pugi, pet her, love on her and make her feel happy and comfortable in her last living moments. The procedure was performed in a very tender and loving way, ensuring Pugi was completely comfortable, relaxed and at ease. Dr. Fixler also made sure I was okay, going carefully and explaining everything along the way. Pugi went to sleep and then passed on very peacefully at home in our living room in my arms. In my sudden dispare for my loss, Dr. Fixler reassured me and gave me a much needed hug. Dr. Fixler's wife and staff member, Alicia, later followed up with help and support with my grieving. Loving my dog Pugi as much as I did, and still do, I am glad I found Dr. Fixler to peform this compassionate service.
