Rocket City Veterinary ER WAS able to see Sandy after 10pm when she ate macadamia nuts. She was parlyzed from the waist down. Sandy stayed the night and was able to come home the next day!
She sees them for everything now.

My dog had become suddenly ill, everyone's worst nightmare. Rocket City's staff worked tirelessly with me to get my dog seen immediately both in the mobile option then at the clinic when it was clear the issue was more severe. I had recently moved so I honestly didn't know what to expect with this level of severity yet, but Rocket City was above and beyond anything I could've expected. The ENTIRE staff was amazing, caring, and very informative explaining everything along with my options for care. While I wasn't sure how it would turn out, within the day adequate tests were performed, an exploratory surgery was performed, a diagnosis was made, contact with a specialist was made to get their input, and I was able to see my dog after all was said and done. Luckily after a few days things turned out ok, but I couldn't thank the staff enough. The entire time I was kept well informed and accommodated completely to see my dog whenever. In my opinion, everyone went above and beyond in regards to my pet's care. On a personal level, the staff was also supportive of me during a hard/emotional time. This was something I hadn't experienced before. I've had pets pass or be in critical care situations where it seemed the vet couldn't wait to move on with their day. Rocket City was the complete opposite experience, setting a standard where I will never take my pet anywhere else.
