After over $10k worth of boarding, medication, and surgeries for our 17 year old dog who has mobility issues (which we adopted at 13), the receptionist or vet tech Teressa literally hung up on me when I asked to speak with the vet about getting a medication refill. (It’s called caprofen. It’s basically doggy ibuprofen for arthritis.) We we’re trying to avoid forcing the dog to travel (he’s about 40 pounds, so he’s not a lap dog) and avoid that stress. Along with being HIGHLY disappointed in their customer loyalty, here are a few reasons why you shouldn't use them for professional reasons. 1. Their record keeping is horrible. They do not keep good records on vaccinations, procedures or other visits. 2. They will overcharge you for things they did not do. Multiple time we have been charged for vaccines that didn’t happen (or weren’t recorded), nail clippings that didn’t occur, etc. 3. Along the lines of record keeping, they will not transfer your records to any other vets- even if it’s so you can board your animals at a location 3 minutes away instead of the 20+ minutes away they are. 4. For the cost of their services, their facilities are a joke. I’m not sure where their money is going because it is not to hire good staff (except Dave and Ivey) or going back into their vet offices or boarding areas. Again, incredibly disappointed in their professionalism and customer support after years and years of loyalty. Shame shame on them. I’m sorry Dr O’Reilly has his name attached to this place.
