Pets? Yup, there’s an app for that

Pet owners can use iPhone apps that benefit their animalsAs Apple recently celebrated its 3 billionth application download for both iPod Touches and iPhone, it’s become pretty clear that there is an app for just about anything. Now, your pets can get in on the action too.

Websites such as PeoplePets.com and MyGloss.com have recently revealed their lists of top five apps for pet owners.

While PeoplePets listed Hey Walkies!, Fido Factor, iPet Finder, Pet Dossier and Dog Whistler as their top picks, MyGloss reported that Cesar Says, Pet Notebook, Off Leash, Relax Alarm Clock Lite and Dog Park are the best.

If you feel like you’re dog is lacking a social life, perhaps you’d want to use Dog Park to find local dogs in the area and set up playdates. Fido Factor may be considered the Zagat for dogs as it allows owners to look up which local restaurants allow pets and where to go for the best pet care.

Of course, when you’re apart from your furry friend, nothing may bring comfort like using the Relax Alarm Clock Lite, which allows owners to record their animals’ noises, as though they’re nearby.ADNFCR-2720-ID-19543921-ADNFCR
