Once you’ve done the promoting, we take over from there. We’ll handle all the details from enrollment to premium collection and claims processing.

Agent and broker requirements

When you work with us, your compensation is 7.5% of earned and collected premium of new and renewal lines of business. Pets Best Insurance and its underwriter bear the cost of appointment fees. To become a Pets Best Insurance representative, there are certain requirements you will need to meet. We are currently appointing agencies with regional and national distribution capabilities that also meet the following requirements:

  • Active property and casualty insurance license
  • Established agent/agency with a strong presence in the large group employer space to support our distribution
  • Demonstrated success in email and web marketing campaigns with a size able email database
  • A pet health insurance marketing plan that supports the generation of ongoing new policy sales
  • Carry Errors and Omissions insurance coverage with minimum amounts of $1 million per incident and $1 million in aggregate
