At Pets Best, with the help of partners and shelters, our “Racing to Save Pets” campaign is increasing shelter adoptions, increasing the retention of pets with adoptive pet parents and providing added direct revenue to local shelters with no additional overhead or fundraising cost to the shelter.
Despite years of good spay/neuter programs, far too many dogs and cats still end up at local animal shelters. The sheer number of pets in need means that there are too many to find homes, which causes of thousands of pets across the country to be euthanized each year. This is a national shame that needs addressing.
