Routine Care Option - Is help for routine care important to you? Or would you rather budget for those expenses yourself?

Waiting Period

Step 2. Waiting Period

Your policy goes into effect in 3 days for accident coverage, and in 14 days for illness coverage.

If you chose to purchase our BestWellness routine care option, that goes into effect in 14 days, as well.

Get Treatment

Step 3. Get Treatment

When your pet is ill or injured, bring a claim form with you to the vet’s office if you can. Claim forms will be sent to you when you sign up.

Have your veterinarian list a diagnosis and sign the form.

File a Claim

Step 4. File a Claim

Send your completed claim form. Information that’s left blank may slow down the process, so please call if you have any questions.

Attach copies of paid receipts. In order to avoid fraud we can only reimburse you for the amount that you have paid the vet.

Receive Your Check

Step 5. Receive Your Check

We work hard to turn claims around quickly, because we know you’re waiting. With mailing time and the amount of time it takes to request medical records, sometimes the entire process can take two to three weeks.
